Our Story

Caviar & Couture began with a moment of serendipity, one that would change our lives forever. I first saw him, and in that instant, it felt as if time slowed and a spotlight shone just on him. I knew I had to say something, though I wasn’t sure how. Then, I noticed a napkin stuck to the bottom of his shoe, and without thinking, I reached down to remove it. He looked at me, smiled, and asked, “Where did you come from?” Speechless, i stared and with that, he just smiled and said, “I’m gonna marry you one day.” It was a simple exchange, yet it was a moment we both knew would change everything. It was love at first sight, and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable.

Our story has been one of love, adventure, and a deep connection that transcends time and place. As a Canadian, my husband could only stay in the U.S. for six months each year, so we spent the rest of our time traveling the world, creating memories and experiences that deepened our bond. We got engaged on the stunning shores of Hawaii, and that moment sparked the vision for what would later become Caviar & Couture.

When it came time to plan our own wedding, we quickly realized that the planner we had hired did not understand our vision. We paid a premium for her non refundable services, but it became clear that our wishes were being overlooked in favor of her own agenda. Frustrated, we decided to take control, starting from scratch with just four weeks left before our wedding as well as our move from Florida to Hawaii. We found a new venue, selected vendors, and crafted every single detail ourselves. While the result was a beautiful celebration, we couldn’t help but feel we missed out on enjoying the process.

This experience inspired the creation of Caviar & Couture.
